What kinda rubbish is this???? This thread is just plain wrong,hw can u compare hashirama's jutsu to the empty shell of the juubi????That's just plain stupidity but i guess that's ur own opinion

I see what you can derive from the chapter. But no, the Gedo Mazou is a shell of the ten-tails which was summoned by Madara or Obito.
It is not the Shinsuusenju because as we can see from the chapter it is clearly summoned by Hashirama and there is no reason for Hashirama to have the Gedo Mazou; I think.

Also the Shinsuusenju is on a total different size scale than the Gedo knowing that Choji and his dad where the same size as the Gedo and the Kyuubi was a rat next to the Shinsuusenju.

Uchiha can't copy Kekkei Genkais, wood release is a Kekkei GenkaiCould the Shinsuusenju have been captured by madara, and then modded into gedo mazo so it could hold the tailed beasts?
*Is that why it have its hands and feets in chains under madaras/Obitos control?
*It is roughly the same size.
*They both seem to be made out of wood.
*The broken of "Sticks" on the Gedo Mazo could be broken of arms?

Ok, people are claiming that the Juubi was summoned from the prison in the moon.
But why doesn´t the Gedo mazo look anything like the Juubi from the start? Why did it have to transform twice?
First to a fat monster that doesnt even seem to even have legs.

Shouldnt he have looked like the juubi from the start if he was summoned from the moon, in my opinion he resembles the Shinsuusenju way more.
So, i´m still standing with my thoughts that Madara somehow captured the Shinsuusenju and "Modded" him to work as a tailed-beast container (Adding more eyes) etc.
Or maybe even created one of his own after he got his hands on the senju DNA (Uchiha can copy jutsus).

The Gedo Mazo that Nagato summoned right after the death of Yahiko was most likely removed from the hideout during the summon and it was a couple years after Madara had died. We know this since Obito went to meet with Yahiko,Nagato and Konan after Madara died, and Nagato didn't summon the statue until after Yahiko had died.
The Gedo Mazo is the skeleton of the Juubi and is most likely not made by anyone, it was just there like the Juubi. When the Sage divided the Juubi into the 9 Tailed Beasts he saw that the skeleton remained so he sealed it off inside the Moon created with his Chibaku no Tensei.

gedo means outer path which is the 7th path (outer path)
there are tow gedo tech we've seen sofar, gedo mazo and gedo rinne tensi

although I like the idea, no. There is simply no feasible way that they can be the same thing. It is a fact that the sage of six paths sealed the juubi into the moon, so it wouldn't be a stretch that Madara was able to break the seal with the rinnegan. Also, why would he lie about it? There was no reason for him to lie about releasing the juubi. Plus, how could he have possibly made the shinsuusenju into a host for the tailed beasts? This is a point that I want to stress because you are implying that Madara was magically able to make a jutsu into a suitable host for the ten tails. Also, I think you are forgetting that the gedo mazo was constantly releasing chakra even though it was just a shell, which leads me to believe that it was actually the ten tails body since the ten tails is supposedly the progenitor of chakra and life, WHICH leads me to believe that it was NOT the shinsuusenju, unless you are implying that Hashirama was SO STRONG that a jutsu of his (note that his technique is NOT a summon, just an extremely overpowered wood style jutsu) was able to constantly release chakra for a century after his death. If you look at these points, I think you will see that your theory is impossible.

hahaha......... really? did you read ur own post how can u be so blind ot u just throlling they aint even close. no wait the gedo is one of the huge stone frogs at the temple where naruto learnt sage art. no now i get it madara held hashi hostage and had him great the shell of the juubi (gedo mazo) and added a secret just to it to be able to keep producing chakara even after decades....... hahahahaaaaa
The Gedo Mazo is the original shell, without a doubt. There are two ways to explain the difference. One, we have not yet seen the Juubi's final form, so it is possible it will look more like the statue after it has transformed completely. Two, the actual container of the Juubi changed its form when the beasts were removed from it. Perhaps the outer appearance we are seeing that depicts the Juubi is only a result of the chakra on top of the shell, where the shell doesn't actually portray any of the Juubi's multiple forms?
How did this get 4 pages... Madara out of own mouth said that when he got the Rinnegan something from the moon was signaling him. That's when he summoned the Gedo Mazou from the moon. This turned out to be the shell of the 10tails.

Actually it was difficult for me to write anything cause ur thread is great but it went over my head
Some of you guys need to show a lot more respect for other people's theories. Hell, people laughed and trolled and complained at every thread explaining that tobi was obito and look what happened.
Granted, I personally don't think that the gedo is the shinsuusenju. However, he has decent enough evidence, and maybe kishi would have some ulterior motive for making it so. Reminds me of something that already happened... oh right, OBITO!!
People were so very wrong in their reasons why tobi was obito, but in the end, kishi gave his OWN explanation as to how it fit into his world, so who knows?
