Chapter 3: Burning Soul: The Kekkei Genkai that surpasses the Rinnegan
In the Sage of The Six Paths' Grandfather's time:
A long time before the Sage of The Six Paths was born, there was a small village in the midst of a large country covering where the Land of Fire and Land of Whirlpools of the future would be. In the village, the inhabitants were quite adept at battle-skills, which in the ongoing war, proved to be helpful. Most were highly trained in what would later be known as Taijutsu and their primary weapon was a spirit-containing sword (they would later be known as Chakra Avatar Blades), their secondary combat form was the use of "spells", which used Yin and Yang release to use techniques which resembled spells, some members of the village, had the kekkei genkai, Burning Soul (Burning Soul was the first type of jutsu which they had used), which's users were trained to use it efficiently. Burning Soul enabled the user to seal their chakra into people and objects and allows them to talk to anyone through them for large amounts of time (family, ancestors etc.) even after death (similiar to how Minato Namikaze had sealed his chakra in Naruto to enable him to talk to Naruto after death) and enabled the users of it to imbue Yin and Yang chakra (Physical energy and Spiritual energy) within their swords, which granted them amazing power. The size, appearance and strength of the sword reflected the power of the wielder. The Sage's grandfather, who was quite young (18) at the time, was the strongest wielder of the spirit-containing swords (he possessed the same sword as Shinsuke, which he named the Dragon Spirit sword) and possessed the strongest variation of Burning Soul, he had the ability to seal evil power and turn it into a pure version and combine it with his own or someone else's power, this Kekkei Genkai had made him a valuable asset to the village in many ways. This came in especially handy due to the immense size and power of the Ten-Tailed-Beast, which ravaged around the world, normally in the country in which the Sage's Grandfather lived in, due to an unknown reason. The Sage's Grandfather (Yamiken), one day was called to fend off the Ten-Tailed-Beast (they had alerted him before it had gotten too close).
The Ten-Tailed-Beast's single eye glowed with a red hue. Its immense power was shaking the earth and leaking chakra explosions, which made huge craters in the ground. After it noticed him, it fired black and red lightning at Yamiken, which Yamiken easily dodged and cut with his powerful spirit blade. Yamiken absorbed a massive amount of its power. A huge multi-coloured glow gathered around Yamiken and he absorbed the chakra.
Yamiken (while purifying power): Leave this place, demon!
Ten Tailed Beast: Aaaaarggggggghhhh! Roar!
*The power grants Yamiken some of the Ten-Tailed-Beast's eye (the combination of the Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan) powers (this descended down from his family as the Rinnegan as a Kekkei Genkai)*
*He uses a powerful earth Rinnegan technique to drive back the Beast*
