What exactly does shinsu senju do ? I havnt quite got that figured out yet. Is it alive or a statue? Any and all info will help thanks

It has 1000 hands so it can be used for many purposes.

It is the largest jutsu seen thus far in the manga (if we dont include juubidamas), its size rivals the juubi.
