So, there has been a lot of doubt that Nagato would stand a stance against Hashi, particularly because of Buddha. Therefore, in this thread I will attempt to explain why I think Shinra Tensei can easily compete with Buddha.
Now, first I would like to address the size of the Buddha, since most users like argue the Buddha's massive size advantage over most techniques.
Buddha size
This here is size of the Buddha in comparison to FULL Kyuubi. As we know, a full Kyuubi is HUGE, but is only relatively the same size of any large toads, who are also equal in size to other Tailed Beast.
Now if the Kybuui Size=Toads (90% chance), its size would appear in a similar fashion as the Toads did in the Naruto vs Pein fight.
Notice the smoke in the first image where the toads appear, notice exactly how SMALL they are and EXACTLY where they are located in the effected area. NOTICE THE RANGE/FORCE/PRESSURE THAT WAS PUT FORTH. Now, this was done by PEIN, who according to Naurto isn't as strong or as fast as Nagato himself
this is manga fact the Pein isn't nearly as BA as Nagato and the Shinra Tensei used to destroy the village wasn't even Nagato at his FULL STRENGTH
but yeah, just keep the size in mind for now lol
Now, secondly I must focus on the power put forth by the Kyuubi against the Buddha and why it isn't as destructive as Shinra Tensei. This certainly isn't easy and I'll give it a try =D
Destructive Power: I'll make this quick as possible.
The Kyuubi's TBB in general does not have nearly the same range as Shinra Tensei or it's destructive force. Here is a FULL Kyuubi's TBB used against Madara and resulting in a small cloud of smoke. Now, once the smoke clears, we can see that the impacted area isnt nearly as great of ST, with its range being no greater than the Kyuubi itself.
in fact, it seems to have been no greater then these TBB's
This conclusion is reached by comparing how big kakashi and Gai are compared to the TBBs vs how big Hashi is here to the TBB
In these two instance, the TBB are shown to be relatively the same size in comparison to Kakashi and Gai vs Hashi. Also notice the impact each TBB had on it's environment! Therefore, it can obviously be assumed that the TBB used against the Buddha were no greater bijuubomb.
Also, with the TBB (themselves) being used simultaneously, seeing as TBB depends on the amount of chakra the Kyuubi puts in, these TBB most likely lacked in power. They certainly weren't on the level of the combined TBB
conclusion:
-Buddha has no size advantage, that would prevent Nagato from using Shinra Tensei from a critical level
-The TBB used against the Buddha wasn't nearly as destructive as Shinra Tensei, nor did it have the range.
-one giant destructive force>a few little TBB's :O
-Shinra Tensei hasn't been used to its full potential
-I'll add to this probably later, I'm getting lazy now haha
