Do u really think that the samurai are really as powerful as a shinobi??

-they even dont have ninjutsu
-there sword fight is awfully
-donot have speed
-no element chakra

But the samurai is made as a leader in kages meet

Moreover the samurai even defeated that awful rain ninja hanzo who couldn't be defeated by 3 legendary sannins

Really kishi can do anything

Some are, yes. Obviously Mifune. But his generals are also quite skilled? They do use a form of ninjutsu. They use chakra flow, and shape ,manipulation. Both very difficult techniques for a good ninja to learn. The art they use is designed for fighting shinobi. They use standard kendo. Fast draws, and sheathing to prevent the formation of hand seals. It is impossible to use ninjutsu against Mifune. Another testament is how he abaolutely destroyed Hanzo, who was considered one of the best powerful, experienced ninja on the planet. Survived the first fight, and neat him like a child a few decades later.

No, most samurai would lose to the average chuunin, but some of them are more than a match for top tier jonin.

Within Narutoverse, just look @ the A verse Sasuke chapters.... The samurai are speechless watching the ninja fight, except for saying ninja are crazy and fight rough.

Mifune was picked as the leader because he was a neutral party....

The shinobi are better. In terms of Narutoverse history, the samurai were the ancestors of the ninja in that the ninja evolved from the samurai (and So6P).

Like the ANBU unit before them, Samurais in this series are mostly hype. The only one worth something is Mifune.
I mean, when Onoki first introduced them he said how defying the samurai was foolish, but then Sasuke came and made easy work of several of them without even bother to use his stronger techniques. And he was fighting against the samurai squad in charge of guarding the building where the Kage meeting was happening, mind you.
Then the war came and lots of them were made punching bags for Kimimaro and a puppetless Chiyo. I don't have high expectations on them anymore.

Mifune is definatly a High Jounin / Kage Level Samurai.
Everyone else is Chuunin ish.
