Early part 2 Naruto is a shit stomp for Boruto. Boruto got the bells by himself something that Naruto had to cheat to get with support from Sakura. that alone tells you Naruto is surpassed.

I don't think you understand how games work, especially games with a huge character roster lmao. For starters, the main reason why they used Boruto and Shippuden Naruto was because they already revealed/had the character model for Shippuden Naruto and the point was to show off the new character reveal (Boruto). But in general when games have huge character rosters they tend to show off the characters that players would be most interested in - and I'd be willing to bet more people would be interested in seeing Shippuden Naruto over Part 1 Naruto. But to be clear, yes in this game Part 1 Naruto would still have to be on par with any other character - because again balance>>>lore in a pvp game.
