The Hyuuga Clan values the issue of lineage highly. Through restricting the inheritance of its powers to only one of its heirs, the difference in treatment given to the Branch house is clear. When a Branch child completes three years of age, a cursed seal is placed on its forehead to prevent rebellions.

The Clone Technique is the most basic of basic ninjutsu. It’s easy to use, even for genin. However, on the other hand, it’s very interesting since the villages established their own characteristic clone methods and there exist techniques of extraordinarily high difficult. It also has many different uses.

Other than the Uchiha Clan, there are many clans in the Hidden Leaf Village that transfer their techniques through secret scrolls or bloodlines. Each clan has a very unique skill, and its lineages are protected by rigid rules to stop foreigners from taking them.
- Uchiha Clan: Bears the Sharingan, a Kekkei Genkai. Used to be the best clan in the Leaf Village, but currently is considered decadent.
- Hyuuga Clan: Bears the Byakugan, a Kekkei Genkai. It’s focused on the main house.
- Akimichi Clan: Bears the Multi-Size Jutsu. Are all clan members ‘big-boned’?
- Aburame Clan: Once they’re born, the members of this clan become hosts of the Destruction Insects.
