Shinobi Brother's?

I was just thinking about this. Why is it that there are only a few people who have brother's? (Tell me if i miss some) Garra has one brother and a sister. Sauske has itachi. 2 shinobi brother's (don't know their names) eaten by the 9 tails (Kurama). and 3 shinobi brother's (who are weak) that want to kill kakashi because he rescued a girl from them. sai and his brother. Is it to limit the # of characters they use? My point is why didn't they give like sakura a sister or anyone else? i dont mean if they had brothers or sister and are now dead.

Madara had a brother. Hashirama had a brother. Tsunade had a brother. The Sage had two sons. There's Sakon and Ukon. Asuma had a brother or sister. A has a "brother" (brotha! /ebonics)

then their is suigetsu and mangetsu and then there are the two brothers from the mist that attacked kakashi in the first naruto arc

I mean if sakura had a sister or lee had a brother in the series. I know shinobi's had brothers but the main character's don't have brother's or sisters.

There are PLENTY of siblings in Narutoverse. I'm sure more than what is given. Kishi only focuses on family members that are relevant to the overall story though. Or in other words, these people may have other siblings but they are not mentioned in the manga b/c they are non important to the storyline.
