I don't think they saw enough to know about the truth of the Uchiha. I don't think they'll know either - even in Death Itachi wanted it a secret and I think Naruto will honour that. Besides a few, nobody knows in depth about Itachi and Uchiha and even less know about the "curse of hatred" being an actual thing, genetic Uchiha hatred.
