Shino already fought with Kankuro, so he has experience with fighting against puppet users. Meaning Shino already knows to expect the unexpected, given he is a analytical genius. He should assume that Sasori incorporates poison in his arsenal, and will be well aware of it. Not to mention, he already knows how to stop a puppet in it's tracks.

Don't feel like getting any further into this, unless someone tries me. I simply wanted to prove the fact that Shino is more then capable of dealing with the Hiruko puppet; that people who know close to nothing about Shino didn't think he could handle.

That means nothing if he will be aware of it. All puppet users have their own traps and techs to defeat their opponent. There is no proof that Shino will manage to understand Sasori's/Hiruko. Even Kurkuro himself stand no chance even having vast knowledge on a puppeteer.

You explained no detailed on how its even possible for Shino to make that happen (Then again that was a small summary). Shino was successful because: -He use bug bushin to catch it. Giving the location it was easy to set up. But not this OP location will make this possible in a open field.
-Kunkuro puppet runs on strings. Hiruko does not run on strings (on the back per say).

-Shino only option is to manually let the bugs fly to him and get close to him to send a female, to attract the other bugs. With those said, those chances are very slim of succession.

Going for the core does not produce the chakra but activates it. And since Shino can sense chakra it will only go after chakra.

I still am going to review Shino's screen time as he was never shown to sense chakra. He was able to absorb Tobi's which might be the reason he could still track him "If Tobi were to ever use High speed to get away from Shino's bugs".
