This wouldve been a good battle.
Shino is an undercover genius who has shown enough in part 1 which hints that he should take this. Afterall he is a mid to long range fighter. He also has great defence in close combat as seen against kankuro.
Lee's speed and gates would cause him great trouble. He has to and can beat lee before lee decides to use his gates. If he hasnt won the fight before lee activates his gates, shino is getting destroyed.
Do i believe shino can beat lee before he decides to use his gates?, yes therefore shino takes this with mid to high difficulty

It's just like the sand sure it's fast but lee with weights off is faster plus even if they get on him whiles he's in gates mode he'll still have plenty of speed left to quickly finish off shino before probably passing out because of the chakra losss xd

lee i dont think the bugs can eat the gates "chakra" because kisime couldnt sbsorb gais so i think it is a bad matchup for shino. i could be wrong though

when gai did the morning peacock or afternoon tiger i forget witch kisikme could absorb it he tried but couldnt because he was useing the gates that green aura shit i wish i knew what chapter i would post it

I say Shino with med to high difficulty....but the gates would pose a problem but by the time lee trys to go into them he would be on the floor. As Shino being as smart as he is wouldn't drag the fight out (assuming they know all info on each other) lee only focuses on power and attacking but that's not enough...proof is his losses (gaara, kimimaru) so yea I say Shino in the likelihood that lee don't make it to the gates

I think this is a pretty good fight; shinos a good mid-long range and his skill in using his bugs is good to slow down people like lee who go to hit the body, not bugs haha. I think lee would win but he would have to open a few gates

I think he tried to suck up the chakra in the fire not guy, as the fire was not made with any chakra.....

Rock Lee would win if his weights were taken off.
The bugs have no chance of getting to him if Rock Lee had his 100% speed. I think Lee could win without the gates.
