Shino vs Hidan

Hidan has quite a fast attack speed and I don't see shino keeping up with him.Sure shino could use the chakra stealing bugs but Hidan dosen't need chakra to do the curse.

That's like saying a Taijutsu user doesn't need chakra for hand-to-hand combat. They're still affected by chakra drainage.
I know Hidan can survive numerous fatal injuries such as decapatation. However, I'm unsure if he's affected having his chakra drained, which is an entirely different thing all together.:shrug:
Although the curse only works if Hidan is standing in his symbol. If Shino works it out he keep Hidan away from it.

I think hidan would win only because of his immortality.Hidan's an idiot and his fighting style is like a butcher, but even Shikamaru couldn't defeat him on the first go around and he more intelligent than Shino.

with intel, i can see shino winning this tbh. but without intel, unless you can wreck hidan from the get go, or are fast enough to avoid a constant assault chances are you will lose. hidan beat chiriku, yugito, and asuma, and they aren't pushovers

edit: as to what happens if shino drains all of hidan's chakra, imo hidan will be immobilised, but he won't die like a normal person. however it will give a massive opening for the opponent to decapitate, immobilise or whatever. and shino is ruthless

Oh I see. Shikimaru is the only ninja who knows how to set traps and discover an opponents weaknesses. Shino is on par with Shikamaru in intelligence and planning and a strong fighter on top of that. Hidan is stupid and reckless with 1 jutsu that he always goes to even if it fails. I'm sure Shino could handle him.

shino is only a level headed person who can easily plan strategies because of this feature, i'd say neji is even better than him
besides hidan is akatsuki so don't underrate him cos u don't like him, i don't like him too, killing asuma like shit, but i'll say fact as always
if its their first battle, hidan would surely win
i'll assume you saw the filler episode when shino had no choice but to use taijutsu and he lost, hidan is perfect at taijutsu he can keep on dogding those bugs like he did for shikamaru's shadow even in mid-air till he lure's shino in to taijutsu, and thats all.....
