Shikamaru and Ino's teamwork is meaningless w/o Choji and Shikamaru employs a stationary fighting style most of the time, which isn't a good option considering his opponents. Without a solid fighter by his side, Shika (and consequently Ino) gets either blown away in one go by Tenten or chased relentelessly by Shino's bugs until he's sucked dry.
