Like the rest of team 8 he has been forgotten. Although don't forget that shino would have lost that Kankuro fight if it wasn't for his dad saving him from the poison. Kankuro obviously was fine after a while since he isn't dead.

Kankuro was saved due to plot. Remember, Shino's bugs totally ate him and he fell out of tree. Should have been dead after that. If the Sand Siblings were Completely Evil, that's it.

I just meant that he has had 1 win (chuunin exam) and 1 tie(Kankuro) that is actually canon. Which is not much, hence why I said he was underdeveloped.

Yeah Shino has been forgotten since the end of the Chunin Exams. He had no role during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc either. He did, however, fight Tobi.
