I agree with most of this list except for your placement of Shikamaru. Given the fact that he is a Chuunin level ninja who single-handedy defeated an S-Class Immortal Akatsuki ninja, and has "immeasurable intelligence", enough to earn the respect of Tobi, I would place him considerably higher. Also considering Chouji's butterfly mode, I think he (Chouji) stands a good chance of defeating Sakura. I think Sakura would need something like Princess Tsunade's slug summon to defeat Butterfly Chouji. Sakura is strong, but Chouji has always been strong, and Calorie Control increases his strength 100 fold, making Sakura's strength pale in comparison.

To be honest, I think Chouji, Neji, Shikamaru, and Rock Lee are all very powerful. Chouji's biggest downfall was his lack of confidence, but I think he's overcome that. Shikamaru's biggest downfall is his laziness, but has overcome that. Neji's biggest downfall is his pride, and has sort of overcome that, etc. But I think those four are better than Shino. In a one on one battle, I think Chouji could hold his own against Neji and maybe Rock Lee, but Neji is a better leader and disciplinarian, earning him the position of a Jounin and future leader. Shikamaru has demonstrated good one vs one abilities, but he is also a leader and strategist. Rock Lee will probably be a good teacher but for now just seems too naive about things. However, we have yet to see a gate-released, drunk Rock Lee. And considering he is a spitting image of Might Guy, I think Guy is a good template to see where Rock Lee will end up. A gated Rock Lee vs Neji or even Chouji would be good. But against Shino? I don't see Shino doing anything impressive. Sai is an ANBU member, and that says a lot considering his age. Then again, I think Shino would fit right in with ANBU because he has very secretive, spy-like discreet techniques.

1. Chouji/Shikamaru/Neji/Rock Lee (For these four, I think the outcome depends entirely on the given conditions of the battlefield, I.E. is it an open landscape? Are there trees, or objects to hide behind? Is Rock Lee drunk? Shikamaru's intelligence seems to need some time to develop a winning strategy, that timeframe is a weakness.)

And with the Lee situation, well... Yeah, in the end he's sacrificing his body JUST to defeat Shino. You're all acting like he can use the Gates just like walking in the park. Smh.. Since the beginning of the series Shino always composed and carried himself like a Jonin.

True that gates are a trump card-type situation, but that still applies. I am assuming this is a one vs. one battle to the death situation, and Rock Lee comes out on top in my opinion. Plus, remember Rock Lee against Kimimaro? That drunken style was so bad-ass, and Kimimaro was considered an elite ninja, but even he was on the losing end, if but for a very short duration.

I like how the Naruto Wiki puts it: Shino specializes in espionage. He's not your run-of-the-mill front-line fighter. So yes, I think brawn, i.e. Chouji, would kick his ass one on one. But his espionage/spy skills make him more of a true ninja, where as Chouji is just a really powerful, hungry, fat-ass warrior.

Shino can't beat Naruto, Neji and Rock Lee. He may be able to beat Shikamaru and Choji, but both those could go either way.
He can easily beat Sakura, Hinata, Tenten and Kiba.

Shino is quite a tactful fighter from what we have seen most of the time. I do however believe that out of the K11 he could not beat; Naruto, Sasuke, Neji or Shikamaru. Shino would be able to beat the remaining K11 simply because of tactics and skill. The only reason I see the four mentioned K11 beating Shino is because they can out-think and outclass Shino altogether. Shikamaru however is one of the only people I'm not 100% on about beating him, and if he were to beat him it would be because of his brain and ability to counter-attack and conjure different tactics on the spot.

Other then that, I do not see any of the other K11 beating him very easily but a lot of the fights COULD be quite even.

One of the better rookies, he was always calm during the invasion. Easily countered the genjutsu and defeated kankuro.
In the anime, he was able to stand his ground against the likes of guren with kakashi and yamato while the others struggled.
Still, he is shown to be like the other idiots in konoha 11.
He is the 2nd or maybe the 3rd most clever shinobi after shikamaru and neji(maybe)
He is better in combat skills than the likes of shikamaru and kiba.
Always been better than the kunoichies.
No comparison with choji who just has muscle power to show.
So, yeah he maybe the best after naruto(definitely) and neji(doubtable)

And yeah, Konoha 11 is not made out of idiots. The last time i checked Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji and on some part even Sakura have contributed more than him. I'm not saying that is weak or anythingand I prefer Shino more that some of the characters i mentioned but do not go around calling the pthers idiots.

No he is Weaker he may be in top 6.

As for choji, he doesn't need to get a hit. He can destroy him with his bugs.
And lee hasn't shown anything impressive apart from his match against gaara.
Don't know if he has developed from there. He rarely uses the gates. Shino can definitely counter the lee's strength from chuunin xams. So, he can't lose against lee of present.

i think people are forgetting how fast rock lee is. he restraines his speed with the ankle weights. once taken of his speed reaches incredible heights. and lets not mention 8 gates which has 8 different levels of which shino has no chance against.
