Shino could possibly be the perfect Match for Hashirama (Non-Bijuu)

Shino does not lack of intelligence. Rather, he is quick to pinpoint advantage's and weakness's when he fights. Not quite on Shikamaru's, but closer than the others....maybe on par with kakashi.

Shino's bugs eat:

Chakra + Anything softer than Metal

They can also be used as a 3rd eye, making jutsu like Bringer of darkness as easy to see through as day.

The only thing that affect them are explosives and supposedly Fire ninjutsu, neither of which Hashirama has.

The same way naruto did. Hashi definely has chakra on par with BM naruto, if the bugs couldn't eat that they can't eat hashi's.

Actually, Shino would lose miserably, the amount of chakra and lifeforce Hashi has, it would be like getting bit by mosquitos. His justu are too large-scaled for shino, shino has no speed at all and will be easily over powered. he can create a giant forest, and trap shino inside, put him to sleep and game over. I bet he has poisonous plant jutsu..I BET.
