your last statement is somewhat true. a lot of naruto fans don't like the bug aspect of him, so that drops his popularity.

on topic: i agree...shino is very badass. never lost a fight. could solo hidan. could very well almost solo sasori yeah i said it. he might need chiyo's help, but it'd be a lot cleaner than sakura with chiyo. strongest konoha 11 behind naruto. the guy is truly badass

I think shino has a lot of hidden potential. Too bad kishi isnt interested in any side characters anymore :/. I want shino, rock lee, neji, and shikamaru to have their own fights in the war arc but its not gonna happen.

I'd love for him to solo Sasori (or almost anyone really) but I highly doubt it. As for the last statement, I reckon he'd give Neji (said to be the strongest of the K11 after Naruto) a run for his money even if I'm not 100% sure he'll win. :y

i think kishi is too tired to maintain all charecter unlike oda in one piece where all charecter develop equally without over lapping i think kishi like a bit of future vision like oda

anyway i also love shine he was in 4th place during part 1st then just they all got kicked out

secondly choji got a power up is just plot nothing else i wish kishi gave something to shikamaru

I wouldn't say 9 times out of 10, but I do think Shino has a very good chance to win a good number "out of ten" against Neji. Same here, same here.
