First you are correct about him being a beast... but it's never actually stated that his bugs adapt in the manga. That's an anime only aspect. It's not impossible for his bugs... but it's not manga canon. Plus I don't think the bugs suck chakra, I think they chew it. Also, his bugs would get raped by Amatearsu, I don't know how you got that lol.
