Noticed it as well. The way he was so blunt with Choji's kid and the way he talked to Mitsuki is reminiscent entirely of p1 Neji. Makes sense that they try to merge the two characters who were referred to as monsters in p1 as 1 character. The fight is going to be awesome. :x3: Hopefully the anime team don't mess it up.

Yep. This exam doesn't have any CQC monsters either. Araya doesn't seem all that solid in CQC despite his portryal. They should've dealt with his action choreography better against InoJin. Metal Lee got shanked early and he doesn't even seem to be wearing weights. Poor Gai must be bored in his wheelchair. Boruto cant even beat Shikadai in cqc.

But yea Mitsuki Vs Shinki will be interesting. We can gauge base Mitsuki's speed to see if he's faster than weightless Lee , tho based on spoilers this doesn't seem to be the case. It's possible the fight be similar to Gaara Vs Lee with weights on but no matter what im sure its gonna be epic.

Shinki is a breath of fresh air for me lol and a badass.. For the first time, i'm actually looking forward to the next Boruto episode to see a new gen character xD

Same here JinBro. I honestly like Shinki's persona more than CE Gaara. His attitude and dialog is really well done. One would think Kishi is the one doing his scenes. Apart from the flash-back scene which could've been done better. Shinki is too boss for this gen. Dude straight up tells Mitsuki that if he doesn't go SM he'll be sorry , which is straight FACTS. Pissed that Boruto had to talk for Mitsuki. Shinki seems like a mix between CE Neji and CE Gaara in attitude which is what i think the anime team was going for.

Shinki is now my fav character in the series. I love this arc.

Yea i noticed the crazed look. Dudes battle-lust is a nice touch. Gaara wasn't so much , meaning i could literally see Shinki pulling that face if Lee was going Gates in front of him , unlike Gaara/Neji lol. Do you think that Shinki could take SRA weightless Lee?

Shinki is just another one of those "badass" just for the heck of it. Whereas Mitsuki isnt something we havent seen earlier; a duplicate like Sai/the japanese gentleman.

Personality wise theyre hella behind. Powerwise Shinki should take it as his opponent wouldnt be going all out.
