Why is giving your shinigami powers to a man a crime?

Please, no spoilers! I am at chapter 146, soul society arc, exactly when ichimaru tells rukia he can save her.

why?

i mean, in rukia's situation, giving her powers to ichigo was the only solution!
What do you mean why? It just is. It's their law. Humans aren't qualified to possess Shinigami powers. It's a world of Shinigami versus Hollows. You don't go around giving humans your powers just because it's "the only solution"

A human could go and abuse the power and use it for evil bizniz, it's just a law to prevent such events I guess.

Humans and Shinigami are separated by life and death, and they live in their respective worlds. When a human possesses shinigami powers, you are giving them access to both of those worlds and ripping apart that barrier. If Ichigo were the blabbermouth type (and if anyone believed him) he could go about telling everyone about Soul Society, and I don't think that is something SS would take very kindly to.

Also, I don't think that just any human could take Shinigami powers. Ichigo was already spiritually aware, as he could see and communicate with souls before taking Rukia's powers. That might make a difference.
