Never, the best OST in SNK is the opening. And as far as your title goes no, Snks story is just one huge block of "mystery" with the answer to everything being "Titans"

who even said that it's greater than fma(b) anyway.it's just a little below and yeah nothing stomps fma(b),especially not in opening and ending theme as well as ost.

SnK is brilliant, on the whole I think FMAB was a bit more to my preferences though, it was an allround 10/10. Gory manga/anime are not my favourites, but this one I love despite that
