Lets look at the facts. Shin was fighting Naruto with MS throwing a barrage of kunais and weapons while there were 2 CHILDREN in his presence. Of course he had to use kurama. His human hands can't save the children. If it was a 1v1 naruto wouldnt have to do that. He was protecting salad and sassy meatball. Sasuke didn't get none of that crap.
