Also...not really? Every DK game Diddy is in that is how the mechanic works. Not that ridiculous. You only think it's a good idea having them as seperate characters because it's been the Smash standard for so long. The Smash standard also will have you believe Jigglypuff is the best and most relevant representation among the Pokemon series and that Captain Falcon matters anymore.

I think jiggly puff is the stupidest addition to the game yet. Yeah they're paired in the same game but DK is a major face of Nintendo you gotta have him be his own independent. Paper Mario is not realistic
