Would Shin be about the same age as Naruto or like Kakashi?

The real question here is since he was Orochimaru's test subject at first and we can date that all the way down to when Danzo got his arm which was before the series. How did he get into Kaguyas Dimension? The juubimon? The Kaguya nemesises?


Was he just chilling during the main series because there was war? Or did he just only recently find his way into Kaguyas Dimension?

He's not in Kaguya's dimension. In chapter 8, it did seem like Sasuke was about to teleport to one of Kaguya's dimensions, but it turns out he was just saying why his eye powers had weakened - cause he recently jumped dimensions.

Shin's hideout was somewhere on Earth, from talking to Orochimaru (offscreen while Naruto was talking with Sarada),Sasuke found out where he was,and when Naruto,and Sarada met up with him, they then went off on his Susano'o to Shin's hideout.

He is not Uchiha or Otsutsuki per say ! Well it looks like to me he was def taking orders but i have m guesses with Mini Juubi connection . He certainly might have meet the kingpin which sasuke was talking about need to wait how the events will take place from here .
