So yes he could have taken action if he is less surprised like you said. And by the way, naruto has a whole village, so he can imprision hundreds while sasuke goes solo(far less convenient)

And please don't downrate onion, he is very powerful, even bsm couldn't put a scratch and failed to capture him

Sharingan can see genjutsu almost automatically. Dumb founded isn't gonna fly. When ever he activates his eyes, the Rinnegan and sharingan are shown. You prolly can't see it now cuz his hair is covering the left side of his face. Sharingan allows him to see what shin will do, amen allows him to get onion before he can get away

I don't understand how the imprison thing is relevant at this particular point

I'm not downing onion. It's just that Sasuke couldn't catch him even tho he has superior speed and reflexes and the Sharingan/Rinnegan. That speaks volumes about onion skill

Gaara at age 19 was fighting multiple Kage level ninjas back to back during the war, he fought his dad, helped Oonoki with Edo Muu, fought Edo 2nd Mizukage, and helped a bit with Edo Madara when first appeared all before Tsunade came and healed him. This is a Gaara 12 years later and in his prime; he'll take on an MS user.

Konohamaru was Naruto's student, trained by an elite jounin at a young age, and shown skills as a genin.

Bee is younger than A yet A was held as one of the fastest, Bee with only version 1 3 tails mode was too fast for 3T Sasuke, Sasuke only saw him when he moved in linear movements and asked Karin to track his movements using her sensor. Bee is still as strong as ever.

Sakura in war arc can kill or do heavy damage to many strong ninjas by simply punching the ground, current Sakura will handle herself just fine.

when did sasuke attempt to catch him but failed? when did he use his rinnegan? or am i missing something here? seems folks around here like to make up stuffs to suit their argument
