As you can see even though I can't read the scan it appears Temari will play a significant role in Shikamaru's novel.

It makes sense since it seems like the kind of fan service they have been doing recently. They did the last movie with romance in it. They even included a filler girl for Kakashi in his novel and Gaara's novel is about love to some extent and it would obviously be shocking if Sasuke wasn't somehow factored into Sakura's novel.
