Do you think he will be replenished or did he die already?

I was confused about this chapter, on a couple of things.

He's not quite dead yet. Just ridiculously low on chakra right now.

Kind of hope he dies. Not that I hate Shikamaru or anything, just that the story would get that extra boost going into the climax.

I think he's close to dead and might die in the coming chapters. Kishi wanked him so hard over the other rookies, it's only right that he gets a proper sendoff.

Hope not. Who will teach and tutor the next generation? Including Asuma's child?

I actually don't mind, he's done enough in the series and continued to be important...

He will not

1. Unlike those who died, Shikamaru is not attatched to the Shinju tree.

2. When Naruto thought of Asuma, he had "..." in his panel.

3. Sakura is directly healing him.

4. Tsunade is on the way.

5. They need an actual strategy to win. Having just overheard this information, he'll likely form a plan when he is healed enough.

He can't die, his father just did.

If Sakura cannot, Karin will.

He's still breathing and will hopefully survive.
