In my opinion I believe shikamaru now has to reasons to take a sasuke path. First he lost his teacher than now his just lost he father. I mean you seen what he did to get his revenge for asuma. Now he may not be as strong as sasuke(hurts me to say U_U) however he is as smart if not smarter in stratagies. And aways has the room to get stronger. Just a thought. No trolling
