You didn't screw it much! 0_o I'm amazed.
But yes, your coloring is rough, try to color with little and soft circle traces. Move your hand smoothly around the area...and to shade, keep your hand on the selected area longer.

I know what you mean, I tried a colored pencil drawing once, and it was difficult! >_<
