Shikamaru vs Sasuke with plain Sharingan

OK. I doubt who will win this.
Both are at full health. Sasuke has the simple sharingan (no curse mark) and his guts. Shikamaru with his Shadow techniques and his wits.
Place: Training ground.
Mood: Kill at all cost.
Time: 9 AM
Weather: Bright Sunny Day.
Both has full knowledge of each other's techniques and powers.

Sasuke has techniques like Kirin but all it takes is for Shikamaru to catch him in that shadow this time since Sasuke has no ms or curse seal strength to break out.

Well, from the fights between Shikamaru and Hidan, we've seen dat it took quite sumtym for shikamaru to capture Hidan wit his Shadow. Dat was Hidan wit plain eye. but here, we are talking about the person wit a sharingan... I'm quite sure he aint catching Sasuke wit dat speed...
Even if he manages to catch, he would be in a bad condition already... Like Sasuke using Fireball jutsu....

And Sasuke can analyze Shadow tech's movements... since its same as any other movements...

Hmm interesting battle but my opinion based on information given. Draw...At that given point in their lives both would have a chance to kill the other but in the end wouldn't be able too. Sasuke's hate hasn't progressed to the point of taking someones life and Shikamaru would be the same way(so troublesome.) BUT If I'm being forced to make a decision...Shikamaru would win. And would win easily. Sasuke like Naruto was very hot headed back then. He'd get himself into a situation he wasn't prepared for because unlike Shikamaru...He doesn't think ahead.

I'd say Hidan's speed = Sasuke's. But sauke has better movement tactics wit Sharingan on his side. so, I still say Shikamaru aint catching Sasuke with the shadow.

And besides, shika captured Hidan and Kakuzu because they did not avoid the first hit. Dat too only cuz one was immortal and the other had iron skin tech.

Moreover, Sasuke has genjutsu (even if not a superior one).... which he would surely try to use whether he's caught or not caught....

So wat I picture is shika fighting blind folded to avoid genjutsu and ending up beaten down.

Also i think Sasuke can take him out with a genjustu (when Sai came to Oro hideout)

if the shadow possession technique is chakra then sasuke can EASILY see the shadow before it has even a glimpse of a chance to catch him in it...therefore sasuke wins..
