Kidomaru probably. Once Shikamaru is wrapped in the Sticky Spider Thread it's over. That, and none of Shikamaru's attacks can work due to Armor of Sticky Gold. Add in Kidomaru's Kuchiyose and that's 10's, maybe 100's of spiders Shikamaru has to watch out for along with the mother.
Kidomaru is too versatile and his Kuchiyose is extremely dangerous against someone like Shikamaru.
Though I could be wrong, the more I think about it the more Kidomaru has it.

You didn't specify any location or starting distance but I'll assume the fight starts much like Neji's fight with Kidomaru did.

Kidomaru wins mid difficulty. As long as he keeps his distance, Shikamaru's shadow possession can't reach him. Shikamaru's shadow shuriken technique is also worthless since Kidomaru can change the trajectory of the thrown shuriken. Kidomaru's arrows have greater speed than Shikamaru's shadows so Shikamaru will be constantly on his tip toes while Kidomaru is in a comfortable position.

Anyway its the same forest he fought neji and i agree with u about kido winning since he was the smartest of the sound 4,with abilities that make shika's shadows irrelevant.

He also has the speed to vanish from shika's sight in an instant.
While shika has no byakugan to keep track,unlike kido who can keep him in his sights.

What did Kido use to keep Neji in his sight? Also can Shikamaru hurt Kidomaru is he is wearing his web armour? I don't think so.

With manga intel, Shikamaru is aware of what Kido can do since they fought once before. While Kido knows Shikamaru is smart. Shikamaru low diffs.

Not necessarily,with intel on both sides i actually see kido exploiting shika's lack of vision perception when he takes to the trees.

Kidomaru is super smart himself and with his spiderman speed/reflexes he's like a turned up shikamaru since he can silently move through trees while setting multiple set piece traps that will hinder shika,not to mention CM.

I think kido takes this mid to high diff
