Shikamaru should have kept Hidan's scythe

If shikamaru kept hidan's scythe it would have opened up his use of shadow possesion because he could attack with the scythe as a distraction and use shadow possession and vice versa. With all of the unique ninja tools coming at him that he is able to use, as in asuma's chakra blades, to enhance the jutsu he already possesses. What is your all's opinion on shikamaru not using hidan's three pronged scythe.

You got a point actually, Hidans weapon would enhance his shadow range alot because it's such a big weapon

Well killer bee has shamahada or what ever it's called , I think the main reason is the hidden weapon does not fit shikamaru fighting style

As someone already said, I don't think Shikamaru has the physical strength to carry a weapon as big as that. It must be very heavy to carry although it would be a good idea to use it to increase the range of his shadows.
