Not to mention when his bugs get spread they can move their own. So shadow restraining is useless. Within this place he can prepare faints, Shikamaru might be very smart but he is no sensor nor can see 360 degrees. Shikamau either restrains a clone and get killed by a op bug punch, restrains Shino himself and still gets swarmed by bugs. Either way he gets overwhelmed by superior "fire power".
