He is gonna be brought back to life somehow but not before he makes a talk with his dad and come up with the greatest plan ever to win the war. I know how kishi likes to kills his best characters but it doesn't make sense for me for him to die before making up a plan for the alliance, since it was implied that after his father's death he would be the one to take over.

yeah, but for him to do that he would have to be truly dead. and for him to come back someone would have to use the rinne tensei. and i'm hoping that won't happen.
