Shikamaru Hokage

Would Shikamaru make for a good Hokage?

I believe this makes for a good Hokage:
-Ability to protect his village at any given moment (i.e Tsunade and Hiruzen)
-Willing to risk everything for his people and Village
-Skilled shinobi both intellectually and physically
-Experience to be able to make wise decisions and administer the village properly
-(i.e. Tsunade increased their village mission's survival rate by selecting the proper shinobi to go on their respective missions)

Please add if i'm missing something.

Don't you think he lacks some physical aspects that limit him? I mean, will he be able to protect his village if it is invaded?

I think a combination of Naruto's personality and his ability as a shinobi make him a good candidate for Hokage..especially one who would risk everything (and probably succeed) to protect his Village. I'd see Shikamaru more of a personal adviser. Y'know, like a Shizune.

Yeah, he's shown a lot of variety in his fighting style using tools and shadows but still..I don't think that's enough to protect a whole village..or make him Kage rank.

Yea but every hokage must have some flaws but overall I think he would be a good hokage.

I know right? He's still a Chunin, so that is sort of a setback..but then again he's more powerful than a lot of Jounin in the village.

ur right i dont think he can protect the village... he will run out of chakra fast to

tactically yes...leadership wise also yes...but kage is also a symbol of strength...he will need more strength n jutsu + he needs more combat for experience in the war or else he will not be counted for the future hokage

Exactly, I just don't think he would be able to protect the village, even if his Will of Fire is strong, his body just won't allow him. I hope the war serves him well.

He has low stamina also :/ plus he doesn't know any strong jutsus that could protect the village like Tsunade's.

i think shikamaru can get a promotion to village elder or something like that, but when it comes don to it i dont picture shikamaru's face when the village is faced against someone like gaara (pre-rehab) or oro... i think he would play as a great elder giving military/financial/political/foreign advise from the sidelines to someone who can actively play as the last resort trump card for the village
