Shikamaru at Akatsuki level?

Simple do you think Shikamaru is Akatsuki level. He doesnt have the greatest stamina or ninjutsu but we have all seen how smart he is and we have seen him beat much stronger opponents because of it.

1v1, definitely not. But if you give Shika, any type of intel on an opponent, I dont see any Atkatsuki member losing a fight, with Shika in their corner. Most of the members are already intelligent at battling. But with his prowess, they are really unstoppable.

I'd say yes, simply because the Akatsuki work as pairs and whereas alone Shikamaru doesn't have much other than a brain, whilst fighting with a partner i'd say Shika can be pretty formidable.
