Meh Shikamaru is Hidan's worst match up since if he tries to stand inside his circle, shadow possession will work against him. Sakura could destroy the circle if there is full intel on both sides so Hidan's ritual is completely useless in the given scenario.

Hidan does have better speed and taijutsu skills than the two but he is not capable of overwhelming them with his speed. Even still, people forget that Asuma had a hard time against Hidan despite having much better speed stats than Hidan. Not only that but Hidan was also dodging and reacting to Shikamaru's shadows at the same time while dodging Asuma's attacks as well.

Asuma's taijutsu ability is far beyond Sakura and Hidan was doing good despite having to keep and eye on Shikamaru's shadows along with two other chunins.

Also regular blunt hits aren't stopping Hidan so he should be able to tank punches. Sakura does have sleep bombs though and Shikamaru could use his shadows to toss them at Hidan.

Eventually Hidan will fall for a trap either from Shikamaru or Sakura. In a 1 on 1 though, he won't let either of them prepare one though.

Shikamaru and Sakura take this fight mid-high difficulty.

Full intel is interesting. Hidan knows that Shikamaru can use Shadow Restricting but the limit to it is 5 minutes. He knows Sakura can use medical ninjutsu and so will go for her first. Full intel about Hidan is not advantageous to that extent, even a Chuunin fodder could see that he is immortal within the first 5 minutes of the fight.
Without initial preparation as was see in the manga Shikamaru vs Hidan fight, Hidan stands at a huge advantage.
Close combat with Hidan is foolish unless you have a Sharingan

Shikamaru has nothing on Hidan without 1000000000000 years of prep. I'm not trying to undermine Sakura, but it's highly unlikely she could be of much help here.We've seen Hidan fight off multiple people before and that was without intel.

In an all out skirmish, Hidan dominates but I think either Shikamaru or Sakura could sacrifice themselves for the other to prepare some trap like poison/sleeping gas or something. Both of them are good at these kinds of things and Hidan is someone who would fall for them easily.

Still Hidan's combat prowess shouldn't be underrated as he is above Asuma who craps on both Shikamaru and Sakura.

Hidan's Taijutsu skills and speed are extremely impressive. Even Kakashi had a hard time with him with his 3T Sharingan. Shikamaru's wins was one of the lowest points in the manga for me. This is not how strategies are made without opting or laying down a dozen other alternatives. Worse manga win ever.

Other than that, both of them are far too sluggish for Hidan's attacks. He can easily take out one of them completely and then use his immortal technique on the other. Low difference win for Hidan.

Quick point, Kakashi was defending against hidan in that Conflict. Meaning Kakashi was deflecting and blocking attacks much more so than attacking
