Shikaku is one of the most underrated characters

Title says it all. When people think of the geniuses in Naruto, I always see Kakashi, Shikamaru and Minato :sy: I'm thinking WTF! WTH

Shikaku is clearly the smartest ninja alive as he was appointed as Chief Battle Strategist. He always beats Shikamaru in shogi and might I note that Shikamaru's IQ is over 200.

So when we think of the most tactical character let's all say Shikaku because he's the clear winner here folks. :ice:

He always beats shikamaru at shogi huh? Nice, btw I have always maintained that shikaku is smarter than shikamaru, but shikamaru is more efficient because he thinks based on minimal amount of work.

Agreed. Although, I don't think he's really been underestimated since he was appointed in the war. I think people just overestimate other characters.

well of course.. he is old, he hasn't been shown in the manga or anime that much... of course, he is going to be underrated
