''I see everything, and that is my curse.''
Basic Information
Name: Sherlock Holmes
Nickname: ''Sherley''
Gender: Male (♂)
Age: Unknown, past his thirties
Clan: None
Looks:
Sherlock Holmes is an average sized man in his thirties. Standing at 178 centimeters, the man doesn’t seem very impressive at first sight. But upon further inspection, many are surprised by what is hidden beneath the surface. At first glance, Sherlock’s face seems rugged and unkempt. But if one looks closer, the stubble that covers most of the lower part of his face makes way for surprisingly clean skin and sharp features. Behind the unkempt and bored look that seems to be permanently stuck on the man’s face, Sherlock hides a pair of intelligent-looking sea-blue eyes with a slight hint of misty gray in them. Though he does nothing to nurse it, Sherlock is actually far from ugly. With high cheekbones, inquisitive eyebrows, dashing nose and generally handsome features, he is actually quite well off in terms of looks. For a man of his size, Sherlock is quite sturdy and muscular. Nature seems to have gifted him with a body that stays slim and fit.
In terms of clothing, Sherlock’s wardrobe is about the size of his vocabulary. But while he has been wearing many different types of attire over the year, he does usually dress respectably. Sherlock is usually dressed in a white, form -fitting dress shirt with buttons, high collar and unbuttoned cuffs. A tight, jet-black and woolen waistcoat with buttons and a v-cut that goes halfway down his chest and a dark-brown, almost black frock overcoat with buttons, though Sherlock prefers to keep it open. Sherlock also wears a pair of dark trousers, which are tight around the waist but loose in the legs. A pair of dark, tinted glasses and different types of hats are also common additions to Sherlock’s attire.

Personality:
Sherlock Holmes is a mystery to society. His motives and reasons are always unknown to others and can be only assumed by someone almost as intelligent as he is. He may seem like a laid-back character at first to others, but he always seems to have something to be obsessed about. He doesn't care much for his personal hygiene when working alone, nor does he care that much for how he manages. This side of him was shown when Dr. Watson started spending more time with his wife (Mary), assisting Holmes less frequently with his investigations. During that period of time Holmes was claimed to have only survived with the power of coca leaves and coffee. He also seemed to have been drinking formaldehyde (embalming fluids) this whole time. His obsession are further contrasted when Watson makes a note about him catching a jar full of flies and playing lute to them, claiming that he has created order in chaos (1). This could also be a result of Asperger's syndrome or bipolarity, but Sherlock hasn't been diagnosed to have either of those.
Even though Holmes may seem so in the beginning, people who've gotten close to him know that he is (in reality) a dead serious person with an intellectual capacity large enough to become a criminal mastermind. His seriousness is shown when the woman that he held feelings for (Irene Adler) was killed by Professor James Moriarty. His incredible intelligence is backed up by the speed he makes observations and predicts possible outcomes of different situations in a blink of an eye. This rivals even the intelligence of Shikamaru Nara. However, it is still possible for Holmes to be misled as shown when Lord Blackwood in a series of murders happening inside of a secret organization. Even though he was misguided for a moment, he still managed to end the murder spree before it had a chance of spreading to a summit of politicians. Another interesting part of him is that he carries a pipe with him wherever he goes and smokes it when he is waiting and/or thinking. The nicotine seems to have some sort of boost effect on his brain activity.

Sherlock holds a vast amount of knowledge in languages, martial arts, intelligence, disguises and other various subjects. Each one of these skills are used when he is solving the crimes committed around the world. He often claims to be able of seeing everything thanks to his lightning fast observation skills, quick witted mind and ''a sixth'' sense which he uses to analyze the situation, predict things that are about to happen and outcomes of various situations.
One fascinating part of Holmes is his general knowledge. Below is a list of his skills that he has honed no matter whether it's with books or with training:
Knowledge of Politics – Excellent.
Knowledge of Chemistry – Profound.
Knowledge of Anatomy – Accurate, but unsystematic.
Knowledge of Musical Instruments: Plays the violin well.
Knowledge of Sensational Literature – Immense. He appears to know every detail of every horror perpetrated in the century.
Sherlock's fighting skills mainly focus on hand-to-hand combat or sword fighting where he uses his knowledge of anatomy and sense of prediction to discombobulate, disarm, dismantle and dismember his opponents. Part of his regular attire includes a cane sword which hides within itself a 1 meter blade that is 1.5 inches wide. His martial knowledge isn't limited to those and he has theoretical knowledge of fighting with different weapons.

Background Info.
History:
Not much is known of Sherlock Holmes before his teaming up with Doctor Watson whom he had met in Amegakure. These two later on started assisting the investigators with their investigations regarding the bodies of dead (before they were taken to the tower). Sherlock was really born in Irongakure where he learned the secrets of wielding a blade and fighting without one from the great Bearded-Brit. He also seems to have a brother named Mycroft Holmes who is a known diplomat in Land of Iron.
Archived Case I:
In Amegakure, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson race to prevent the ritual murder of a girl by Lord Blackwood, who has killed five other people similarly. They are able to stop the murder just in time before Inspector Lestrade and the police arrive to make the arrest. Three months later, Blackwood is sentenced to death and requests to see Holmes, who visits him in prison. He warns Holmes of three more impending deaths that will cause great changes to the world. Blackwood is hanged and pronounced dead by Dr. Watson. Holmes receives a surprise visit at their office from Irene Adler, a professional thief and his former lover, who asks him to find a missing man named Reordan. After her departure, Holmes discreetly follows her as she meets with a man, her secret employer, hidden in the shadows of a carriage. The concealed man states that Reordan is the key to Blackwood's plans.
Three days later, Blackwood's tomb is destroyed from the inside out. Reordan is found dead inside Blackwood's coffin. A groundskeeper claims to have seen Blackwood walking from the tomb. Following a series of clues from the body, Holmes and Watson find Reordan's home and discover experiments attempting to merge science with ninjutsu. Later, Holmes is taken to the Temple of the Four Orders, an occult-dabbling secret society. The leaders, Sir Thomas and Home Secretary Lord Coward, ask Holmes to stop Blackwood, a former member of the Order. Sir Thomas and another senior member of the group are later killed through apparently supernatural means by Blackwood, allowing him to assume control. He plans to push for Kirigakure to retake Amegakure, weakened by civil war. Lord Coward, who was in league with Blackwood all along, issues a warrant for Holmes' arrest.
When Holmes learns he is wanted by the police he goes into hiding and studies Blackwood's rituals, concluding the next target is Parliament. Holmes tricks Lord Coward into revealing that the plan is to wipe out the House of Lords and then rejoins Adler and Watson. The three sneak into the sewers beneath Parliament and discover a machine, based on Reordan's experiments, designed to release a cyanide derivative into the Parliament chambers. They fight off Blackwood's men, and remove the cyanide containers from the machine.
Adler grabs the cylinders and races away, pursued by Holmes. Blackwood and Coward realise their plan has failed. Coward is captured but Blackwood manages to escape. Holmes confronts Adler on top of the incomplete Bridge but is interrupted by Blackwood. Holmes tricks him into becoming entangled in the ropes and chains, hanging over the Thames while Holmes recounts the technical trickery behind all of Blackwood's supposed magic. A loose beam falls off the rafter supports, causing Blackwood to fall catching his neck around a chain and hanging himself. Adler explains that her employer is Professor Moriarty, warning that Moriarty is every bit as intelligent as Holmes but far more devious. Later, the police report to Holmes and Watson that a dead officer was found near Blackwood's device. Professor Moriarty used the confrontations with Adler and Blackwood as a diversion while he took a key component from the machine. This prompts Holmes to accept the new case whilst refusing an offer to name his own fee.

1. ''If I play a chromatic scale, there's no measurable response. Now, and this is remarkable, I switch to atonal clusters... they fly in synchronized, counterclockwise, concentric circles, as if a regimented flock. Watson, this is extraordinary. I, using musical theory, have created order... out of chaos''
