Practitioners of kenjutsu has to be one with the sword and must consider it an extension of their body. The user must be balanced both mentally and physically,intellectually to carefully master the art.
One must be one minded with the sword as it requires understanding between man and nature,man's harmony with his sword and with his surrondings.
