Alright content might be the same, just more structured.

A plus to the technique is it's reach. Unlike most other kenjutsu techniques, this one reaches mid-range due to the wave expelled from your blade.

Not really any negatives to this as I'm an optimist but if I were looking for one, it would be that you have to have a sword present in your hand so no handseals immediately.

To counter this, I would resort to a simple technique allowing me to evade the chakra wave as the user can't aim it after it is released. This is thinking if my opponent uses the technique by itself.

I would use this technique in conjunction with an elemental ninjutsu that requires a sword. Since you already have a sword handy, might as well continue with it.

Performance
I take my chokuto and hold it in my hands, right hand over left and take a wide stance. I take a step forward and swing the blade in a horizontal manner while channeling my chakra into it. While my swing happens, a wave of chakra is expelled that I target to slice your clone at his mid-section.

(Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana

Description: The user flows Chidori current through a katana in manner similar to flying swallow technique. The Radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, the body of the person cut by the sword goes numb, taking away their freedom of movement.

I want you to flow your per-made chidori though your blade, from there. I just want you to advance towards my clone, cutting him any which way you see fit. Nothing else to add, for me anyway.

An advantage to this technique is the enhanced power. We saw how powerful Sasuke made his chidori so channeling that through a sword could add great killing power.

A negative to this technique is the potential time it would take to form the chidori onto the sword. It is not an immediate technique so having it prepared would be an advantage.

To counter this, I would choose to keep my opponent at a distance. On top of that, I would attempt to use the lightning against him by attacking with a water technique and causing him to electrocute himself with his own current.

A good combination I would utilize would definitely be using this after I use a technique to block my opponents line of sight and speed rushing him.

I take my sword in my right hand and hold it straight up. I start to form a chidori in my hand but instead, I channel it through my blade. The powerful electricity flows through my chokuto and is visible to anyone. Using the enhanced blade, I approach your clone and deliver a powerful one-handed slash to his left shoulder, cutting deep into his body with the diagonal cut.

Description: The user will channel chakra into their sword making it glow blue and then jumping into the air they spin at a rapid rate creating a spinning circle and cutting through the enemy target.

Okay with this last technique that I can teach you, I want you to gather your chakra into your blade which will made the blade glow blue, from there I want you then to jump into the air and make yourself spin very fast, allowing you to cut threw your target, this technique looks useful, but I guess the fact you have to jump in the air to use it is, a bit of a downside.

I take my sword and hold it out in front of me, horizontal. I start channeling raw chakra into it, causing my blade to glow blue. Immediately after this action I jump into the air and start rapidly spinning. When I have reached a high speed I release the chakra and shoot out a spinning ring of chakra.

Like the previous one, the main advantage is the ability to reach mid range using kenjutsu.

A disadvantage is definitely the jump and the spin too. This places you in a vulnerable position.

I'm not sure if this is a radius attack or not but if it isn't then to counter all you need is a low power technique due to it being straight forward. Combination can carry over from the previous technique.

(Kenjutsu: Hirashin) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod

Description: The user by use of a sword can use it as a rod to attract lightning currents that are channeled into the user from opponents attacks and by pointing the tip of the blade into the ground the user is then able to dispel the lightning charge nullifing the effects of paralysis. However this only works on free flowing lightning based techniques such as the Chidori current and not on focused lightning based techniques

Okay I will send a simple lighting technique towards you, what I want you to do is to point the tip of your blade into the ground, as the lighting technique comes close towards you, your sword should dispel the lighting chakra and keep you out of danger, but this technique only works on free flowing lighting techniques.

As the lightning technique is shot into me, I stab my sword into the ground and let go. The sword acts as a lightning current, absorbing your technique so it cannot do any damage to me.

A pro to this technique could be of course the absorption of the lightning I guess.

The con to this is really the lack of offensive capabilities.

No reason to counter as the technique is a counter itself.


Combination could be using the previously absorbed raiton for it's offensive capabilities.
