and I vote mei cuz one of her elements is water, and if samehara complains about fire, he's going to be pissed when kisame tries to absorb lava.

Shameda is not good with absorbing flames, or probably anything hot. So absorption of lava is out for sure (though not entirely useless because he defeated the 4 tails which creates lava). Then you have her other kegigenki. If shameda could absorb that before it melted then he could have that rendered useless, but im not sure if it could do that. Then kisame is a master of water ninjitsu. But it is weak to earth techniques which mei I assume is at least good with. If kisame tech is My vote goes for Mei as well.still stronger then she could infuse that with fire to make lava, which as I already established can't be absorbed, by shameda or by touch.

I'm not sure it could go ether way. Boil release would be a pain for Kisame but if he could get into sword range with Mei then he could win.

Maybe lava release to form a pumice wall between her and the sharks. Pumice btw is the rock that forms when lava is cooled by water.
