Hey Senpai, Im ready to roll

Earth
Earth in narutoverse is one of the 5 basic elements. Earth Release or Doton allows the user to manipulate the ground, to make it strong as metal, to make is soft as clay or to make its smooth and liquefied like water (mud).

Strengths and Weaknesses
Earth is strong against water, but weak against lightning. Earth is strong against water because the earth is strong and firm so the water would simply bounce off it. Earth is weak to lightning because lightning easily breaks through the ground.

Im curious, is your name Sharing as in Sharingan or just Sharing?

Now if I was earth what emotion would I be... erm id say acceptance because earth can be manipulated to be effective in most situations.

Now for some good old meditation

*I sit in the lotus position and breathe deeply, as I inhale I can smell the musk of the earth I am on, It smells like strength (if you can spell strength xd) Then as I exhale I feel how the sturdy earth pillar does not budge, even as the wind blows it. I then start to picture the earth as I start to slowly start to flow my chakra. I feel the cold hard ground under my body and I slowly try to pour my chakra into it, almost like a plant trying to spread its roots*

• Build up chakra in one spot under the surface of the earth

*I close my eyes and take a deep breath in, as I exhale I slowly start to let my chakra flow into the earth beneath me. I continue to breathe deeply as I focus the chakra that I had poured into the ground. I exhale and force the concentrated chakra upwards, causing a pillar made from earth to lift up from the ground. I take a deep breath in and place my hand on the top half of the pillar, as I breathe in I focus my chakra into the shape of a kunai, I pull my hand back and release all the chakra around the kunai I created. I then place my other hand on what remains of the pillar, I then take another deep breath and focus my chakra into a round shape, I pull my hand back and release the chakra around the circular shield I created*

*I stand there with the kunai and shield in my hands*

I'd say the size of the pillars varies with how you want to use it; I once made a pillar wide enough for two people to stand on, and 3 times the height of an average person (my opponent to be exact). But that was very well done, keep it up. Also, it seem's I keep forgetting this with my students, but after you perform a jutsu (you don't have to do this for the one you just learned), please post a pro (or combo to use it with) and a con (or counter to it). Helps me know you're getting it.

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Section Cane
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

• Use shape manipulation to create a staff, and let everything that is not a staff crumble away
• Hit my clone with it a few times, *Makes a clone* and then throw it at him, making sure it stay's solid the whole time

Okay, I wasn't sure about the size of the pillars as it is a D rank jutsu. but thanks for clearing it up for me

*I take a deep breath and focus my chakra. I then place my hand on the pillar, letting my chakra flow into it. I manipulate the shape of my chakra into a staff-like shape. I then let the chakra go around it as I pull my hand back holding the staff*

*I turn to your clone and starts striking it with the staff. As I am striking it I keep releasing a small amount of chakra into the staff so that it keeps its strength. I then jump backwards in the air and throw the staff at your clone*

Like a bawse

Pro: the staff made from this jutsu will be stronger than normal ninja tools
Con: this jutsu can be easily countered by a lightning jutsu

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Range: Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

• Focus your doton chakra into the ground beneath you
• Use your chakra to disperse the earth like sand
• Dig through the ground, sending chakra to the surface so you can feel pressure on the surface so you know what's going on
• Use your chakra to compress the sand you push back as you dig to seal the hold, so no one can follow you

Pro: When the opponent is in this jutsu it is really hard to escape.
Con: the user could be caught with an earth jutsu such as swamp of the underworld or whatever its called.
