How good would Danzo be at holding back a Jinchuuriki/Biju?

Pretty good when combined with Mokuton, that's also a reason why he did it, to control Kurama I believe. Didn't Obito state that? But, it wouldn't be as efficient as a legit Uchiha doing it imo.

I wish we could've seen a bit more of Danzo actually fighting...maybe more of his Mokuton techs instead of that one small tree and the giant tree he made when he lost control.

And does anyone know how the Sharingarm would work anyway?

Which is why he's unlikely to show more. The cells he implanted on himself would most likely increase the duration and effect of the Sharingan control over the Bijuu. Just like how Izanagi's time was increased.[
