I've always wondered about the true range of the Sharingan Genjutsu , while it's said that it's a short ranged Jutsu , due to the necessity of eye contact , wich is only possible at a close range, it is seen on a few occasions that this technique is used on on a meduim/long distance from the caster and the target. As an example :
Sasuke used his Genjutsu on C while they were quite far away from eachoter.
And here :
Sasuke used his Genjutsu on Deidara from a great distance ( though I'm not really sure if that was the moment he caster the technique) .
My question is : What is the Sharingan's Genjutsu true range ?
