I doubt Salad herself will be irrelevant. Just her Uchiha lineage will. Unless we get another AP Shin situation or something.

I'd really like to deny it, but it starting to look like this more and more with every new content we get. Sarada being sexualised, blushing at Boruto for stupid reasons and treated like a filler character, just lovely. It's so hard to like Naruto being a woman, and I'm not even a feminist at all, but it just pisses me off:

- Byakugan suddenly getting attention with Boruto having something similiar to that. Well, it's not like there has been some female Hyuga present waiting for any sort of character development for 15 years (Neji was "destined" to die anyway, so I don't mention him). Yes, he is the main character, but he gets some OP new eye, while Hima is stucked with normal Byakugan...

- Tsunade, being a Senju-Uzumaki descendant, should be OP as hell, but lol nope, let's make her abilties to have nothing in common with those of her ancestors.

- Kushina, a jinchuuriki of the most powerful tailed beast, an Uzumaki at that, was portayed as nothing else but a housewife. Not even a single fight of her was shown. Her saving Naruto with Minato was one of the best scenes in the whole manga, but c'mon... Giving up her dream of being Hokage for a man (don't get be wrong, I love Minato) doesn't look good at all.

- Mito, although being known as legendary kunoichi from Uzumaki Clan, wasn't even restored by Edo Tensei. Just why?

Sarada, my sweet baby, don't let the "Naruto vagina curse" destroy your character development.

I think your rage should be towards Kishi rather than SP. Lol
All they did was following the manga. It's Kishi who failed to make females relevent (even tho the strongest character is a femail lol).

I actually meant them making it just worse than it already is. Them pulling some Hinata fanservice at any chance they got instead of adding something more to her character than those annoying "N...Naruto kuns" is just unacceptable. It's also clearly visable in Boruto: girls get hardly any screen time. Even when they do, it's some bullshit about boys, like probably in tomorrow's episode.

I get this impression that Kishi wanted to do something more with Sarada, you can actually see he spent some time at her, but it ended with the new writers working at Boruto manga. Such a shame.

I have no idea what you're talking about when fillers did so much to flesh out Hinata's character. Take the Bikochu Beetle Arc, the Hyuga Sister specials, the 100 round training she did with Neji in one episode, or various one-shot team 8-centered episodes. If anything, SP made Hinata more than just being a love interest.

Doubt that. Salad's story had a beginning and end in Gaiden because the Bolt manga wasn't planned at the time. It was meant to be her conclusion, just as Bolt movie was Bolt's conclusion. I assume we would have gotten a Mitsuki Gaiden as well, where he too would get a beginning and end within some 10 chapters, maybe more, but they probably decided to make Bolt its own series before that could happen.

Well, the only visable thing for me was them making her boobs bigger with every new episode and her eyelashes longer. They also made her stalking Naruto more than it was portrayed in the manga. Everything she does is about Naruto. The only good moments were the ones which showed her relationship with Neji and Hanabi, but then there was Kishi showing Hinata thinking about Naruto's hand at Neji's dead body. I guess they complete each other with that.
SP is Hinata biased, and not in a good way. The animation in the last episodes of Shippuuden was a complete disaster, but when Hinata appears it looks just perfect. Hinata fans love that and don't see anything wrong with it. Also, SP states that they love her shy personality, but they are trying to make her a second Sakura in Boruto with her "being scary". Hinata, being scary, since when?

I don't think kishi had any plans of ending everything naruto. In fact, kishi left certain points in his story that someone who pick up and continue his work.

The new manga author/artist gave us some nice info about sarada, even without the sharingan active she is skilled in taijustu/close quarter combat.

People might just need to get over the sexualized dressing of sarada, since it might just get worse once the time-skip happens.

Wouldn't say irrelevant because it's been part of the series from the start.. But you could say it won't be in the spot light as much anymore..

Lets say the sharingan has over 4 to 500 chapters of relevancy an the byaku has 15 chapters to 20.. The red eye will always be relevant to the story.. one of the MC has it so it won't be backburnered it'll just be chilled..

Well at least Sarada isn't as useless as Sakura. But if she learns medical ninjutsu in the time skip, then she's gonna be a support type for Mitsuki and Boruto.

If that happens she's 100% doomed.

She has a chance to gain some spotlight when she upgrades her Sharingan, gains a MS, Susano'o, and all that jazz. In terms of plot relevancy and being on par with Bolt, she won't.

Tho she shouldn't turn out like Sakura, unless the writers really suck major donkey.

Since she's a Hokage-type character, she probably won't even be that interesting anyway. She's gonna scream believe it and become another average Hokage who doesn't change anything.

If I learned anything from Naruto, the MC and the Hokage archetype = bad/stale development.

The manga alone contradicts this. Go read her fight against Neji and 615 and go watch The Last. Fillers would just pile up more evidence to show how wrong you are.

Guess it’s unacceptable for a gentle person, who's known for her pacifism, to be thrown into war unwillingly, to seek comfort after watching a traumatizing event unfold right in front of her eyes.

Um... because Hinata is perfect?? lol On a serious note though, the animation was fine all around. I have no idea what you're talking about. And episodes maintain the same style throughout, so no, it wans't just Hinata being well animated, it was anyone else that also showed up in those episodes.

Hinata isn't a scary character. Bolt finds her scary. Big difference. And lmao at acting like being a "scary girl" archtype was ever Sakura's shtick alone when Karui, Karin, Ino, Temari, Kushina, Yoshino, and Kaguya all did the same.

In any case, if anything, Hinata's a more "Kaguya" type of scary rather than a "Kushina" type. So no need to worry over her "stealing" another one of Sakura's roles :lol

She is still stuck on 1T. I doubt we are getting MS or anything really. She will probably be relegated to comic relief or pairing purposes.
