[Discussion] Sharingan vs Geass

Which is the better eye technique in your opinion. Both have different variations and strength levels. Both users with these eyes are blessed with a curse.

Edit: this includes all the different levels of sharingan (MS and so on...)

Well if you're only talking about Sharingan then I'd say Geass .. but if you're talking about MS or EMS then I'd say Sharingan U_U .

I'll just count regular Sharingan. If you're talking about Lelouch's Geass then I think it's pretty close between the two. The Sharingan can do genjutsu to control like the Geass(but not as powerful) as well as many other things, so I think it is better.

thFor the most part the abilities of Geass can trump the sharingan.

For the following I'll assume the shinobi with the Geass power would be a talented shinobi and not fodder.

With Lelouch's Geass they should pretty much solo anyone...the power to compel anyone to do anything. It's an advanced Kotoamatsukami without a 10 year drawback.

With Mao's Geass you basically know everyove they'll make, and that's before they use it...with talent, a shinobi would be able to fight even people who'd have normally outclassed him/her.

With Rolo's Geass you should win or if need be escape any battle....with the body flicker, getting away before heart failure should be cake work.

And with C.C.'s Geass they can't even fight you because they love you.


I'd say assuming equal combatants, Geass wins.

Geass was OP as hell, you could become a permanent slave after looking Lelouch in the eyes, Rolo could end you in 5 Seconds by freezing time, Mao knows everything you would do, The emperor could alter your memories, you couldn't even attack C.C and one of those Knights could see into the future

Yeah the knight of one's geass was basically a base level sharingan.

Well the only problem being that it's a one use...so using the wrong order would leave you as normal against them.

But the order, " Obey me subjects...OBEY ME WORLD" (oops...started quoting ). Pretty much leaves you victorious.

Of course there's always a Geass canceler...bit that's not Narutoverse. Also, since they aren't chakra derived, one cannot stop them, and they can be used without drawbacks except one's such as Rolo's.

But if a Sharingan user had knowledge of the enemies ability, then all they have to do is put on something to cover their eyes and use it.

KA and obito's sharingan>=Lelouch's geass( no one has any qualms about KA and regarding Obito's,its the best sharingan I have ever seen..Dude even controls perfect jinchurikis with perfect ease for a decade and can mix reality and illusions together! ) Although the mind reading geass is the best of them all(dont consider geass canceller here )
