Description: A simple technique, usable by Sharingan users through their prowess with illusionary arts, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with Genjutsu, the easier the technique is to use.

I asked because so people see paralysis but still try to break the gen with a main method like stabbing themselves with a kunai etc.

That would be a play on the paralysis, if you are a higher rank than your opponent, you might be overcome with your will to then use a kunai to stab yourself etc, imagine how paralysing fear works i believe.

Basically my ultimate defense. I get a whole MS technique at 3T level, which is the phasing. I'm sure we both know how it works, taking me to a different dimension, leaving a shell of myself there as an image basically. I can use it 4 times with it lasting up to 3 turns per use. And if I'm not mistaken, i can still use techs seeing as it is something held with a chakra per turn useage. But i could be mistaken.

To be honest i'm not even sure, i believe if you can be seen you can be bound as you have a link to the real world. Like if you can talk while phased and they hear it, you're projecting it into the real work, so their has to be some form of connection, so personally, i believe you could be bound in a genjutsu

The Sharingan itself gives color to chakra, allowing the wielder to differentiate them. They are also able to tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.The Sharingan's second most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the doujutsu like Tenseigan and Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements or other minute body movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to copy almost any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques.

Then there's hynosis. The basis of this involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact between both parties. We're going to go into more detail here since I plan on using parts of this training to update the canon techs as well as the Sharingan guide so you may be asked for lengthier replies as part of feedback.

Your Sharingan explanation was a bit choppy but for the most part, it's there. The easiest way to understand the Sharingan is to understand for the most part, their abilities are divided into two parts: the Eye of Insight and Eye of Hypnotism. Every one of their core abilities ( excluding Izanagi and Izanami ) fall under these two categories.

The Eye of Insight has a few abilities, all related to what the eyes can see. It allows it to:

1. See chakra and it's characteristics in differing colors to differentiate users. Not unlike the Byakugan, it can see through some things but not all, extending only a few inches into the earth for example.
2. Have enhanced perception compared to the average shinobi. This shows itself in the ability to copy movements, track targets with more efficiency and more.
3. Copy Ninjutsu, due to a combination of the first two abilities. Seeing the chakra nature used for a technique as well as the seals used for it, you become capable of copying any ninjutsu you have the skills to reproduce. Skills can include the KG, elemental affinity or ability to use high level techniques.

The Eye of Hypnosis abilities all revolve around tricking the opponent through Genjutsu or actual hypnosis. It allows it to:

1. Cast Genjutsu through it's eye and grants access to powerful Genjutsu useable only if you have the Doujutsu. These Sharingan Genjutsu are typically more powerful than normal ones, though this doesn't translate to an actual numeric strength or anything in the RP. These are cast usually through eye sight or movement, done without hand seals.
2. Control targets through subliminal actions or suggestive gestures. This can be used to suggest thoughts and actions to a target, coercing them to divulge information or act in a particular way, potentially without the target's awareness.
3. Control animals and Tailed Beasts through extreme hypnosis. Targeting summonings require the Basic Sharingan Genjutsu technique to do this; it's not something that can be done via freeform or without cost. Bijuu control currently is limited to Madara Uchiha, though I plan to update Mangekyou to have this ability on some level and EMS with a heightened version. This will lessen the stronger the Bijuu is as well to prevent it from being something that auto hoes every one of them.

These two abilities coupled with whats known as the Curse of Hatred often leads to an advancement in the eyes that unlock Mangekyou. The Curse itself comes from feelings of strong emotions that turn into hatred when the object of their affection is removed. This often makes them become angry and desperate for power, which leads to a change in their brain and chakra in their eyes which transforms the eyes themselves, known as the Mangekyou.

Before we get to character specific techniques of the MS, I want to go over the abilities it enhances and grants. Which of the two core abilities do you want to go over first, Eye of Hypnosis enhancements or Eye of Insight enhancements?

At MS it goes up to 5.7x tracking and the visual ability to copy techniques goes up also. And there's the copy jutsu for the copying stuff. Idk if there's techniques for the other stuff like tracking. Shouldn't be. Actually false. There's the substitution technique where we need to be able to track ppl and cast illusions to dodge and stuff. Idek if that's what you meant. But hey it's typed.
