could hashirama awaken the sharingan?

i think yes..

first things first....the senju are related to the uchiha(through their ancestors)
which means they have the same bloodline(common sense)
but their ancestors had different views on life, which may have influenced their powers..
Elder son wanted to rule through power, Younger son wanted to rule through Love.

reading the latest chapter got me thinking...how does a uchiha awaken his Sharingan? through hatred(the sharingan also gets more powerful with the more hatred u have, case an point MADARA)

but the younger son believed in Love, so do the Senju.....if a Senju was to have alot of hatred and believe the same way as the ELder son and the uchiha , couldnt he also awaken the Sharingan? blood is blood, their related

mokuton is just combining water element with earth....naruto could do it if he had those elements and trained

Mokuton is KG same as sharingan and only appeared on certain clan member within the clan with special traits, sharingan however could be implanted as well as mokuton could be cloned but cannot sadly exceeding its original powers.
