Sharingan Question - When transplanted Do they gain the previous owner's abilities?
or do they have their own abilities eternally?

There were some Jutsu that Itachi did but I don't think I have seen Sasuke do.
I was wondering if he could but hasn't or if he could not use them only his own jutsu
[i.e. the Amaterasu Clones]

If Sasuke was to have gotten Obito's eyes. . . could he have been able to use Kamui?

just curious
thanks in advance

I dont think so because sasuke hasnt explicitly been shown using Tsukuyomi. Its a different story with kakashi because he unlocked his MS on his own.

True. The original owner also had one of his own. He unlocked it.
So Kakashi could use Kamui . .. but was it because Obito was still alive and could use it .. . .and they unlocked it
after transplantation?

Obviously they have the abilities of the eyes. Maybe Itachi could have used Enton, but prefered to use Genjutsu to end fights.

The overlapping designs of the EMS is due to a fusion of both pairs of eyes. This of course grants the host of the new eyes access to all abilities from both pairs. Having access to an ability does not make one good in it on its own, and Sasuke lacks the intellect to use Tsukiyomi so he just opts for more user friendly low level genjutsu.

it depends on the case. if the case is sharingan get transplanted onto a normal ninja (rare case tho), then they'd be able to gain the pervious owner's ability.

but if the case is an uchiha who gets sharingan transplanted onto him, he would just not get blind but wont get the pervious owner's abilites. examples: sasuke
